His and Hers Parisian Boudoir Session
We love beginning our week with such an emotive, artistic boudoir session courtesy of a WS favorite, Oliver Fly. The intimate moments between these two lovebirds in combination with grainy black and white film? You've discovered our heart song! Below are the beautifully written words by designer Julianne Young Weddings, so we will let her take it away from here...
From Julianne Young Weddings: "Dreaming of Paris naturally brings thoughts of cafes and croissants, La Vie En Rose, the romanticism of the Belle Époque and charming cobblestone paths leading to multitudes of sensory delight. Whether it’s an enchanting bistro with an inviting terrace, a stylish floral boutique with inviting scents of lilac & rose or the elegance of the magnificent architecture, Parisian je ne sais quoi follows you everywhere you go. Can you imagine awaking in this vibrant city to have your wedding day before you? To capture the intimate beauty of a modern elopement in the most romantic city in the world, we drew inspiration from Paris’ allure and our love of classic & elegant wedding design. Elopements are romantic in nature, but elopements in Paris are what dreams are made of.
This stunning hotel is the essence of French style with its elegant façade, crimson awnings and refined interior. With this idyllic setting, it is important for details to compliment the naturally beautiful venue. We follow the story of a couple deeply in love, waking up on the morning of their wedding day in a luxurious suite. With iconic views of the Eiffel Tower, they enjoy a chic Parisian breakfast on the private terrace overlooking the breathtaking landscape, relishing in each other’s company and preparing themselves for the magnificent event about to unfold before them. The sounds of the city awakening seem to fade into obscurity, as their only focus is on one another.
Adorning herself in a romantic and feminine gown of chiffon and lace, while her groom dons a classic three-piece in rich cerulean, the lovely couple share a private and eloquent ceremony, where heartfelt vows written into his and her bespoke vow booklets are exchanged in front of their one and only. A simple celebratory dinner for two is enjoyed over candlelight and beautiful arrangements overflowing with roses and ranunculus. Cake & champagne follow, and the day draws to a close with a romantic walk along the Avenue Montaigne as husband and wife."
