Cool couture editorial full of bright blooms on Lake Mendota, Wisconsin
We're bringing you bright and sunny vibes this early fall morning, with blush bridal couture and eye-popping coral flowers set against the sparkling blue waters of the Lake Mendota, Wisconsin. From the Millia London gown to the stunning florals tumbling out of a vintage 1940 Cadillac, there is heaps of chic inspiration here, captured by Fine Art Curation member Jessica Bedore.
From Jessica: "The shoot was entirely inspired by this couture Millia London blush gown, creating a fun and playful feel, with pops of coral, blush and white. With all that transpired in the last year we really wanted to bring light and fullness to this shoot, and what is happier than pink tulle and ice cream cones?
"We took our couple, Pearla and Idris, lakeside for their elopement tablescape of bright vibrant blooms, created by Ebb and Flow Flowers. Lush blooms, modern vessels, and romantic settings made for a lavish escape. As the vintage 1940 Cadillac rolled up, Sunny from Ebb & Flow created a cascade of florals that poured out of the doors. It felt like a royal affair as the two slid into the backseat. When the temperature spiked into the 90s, we found a local spot for ice creams to retreat from the heat, where the couple gave us all the cool kids vibes in their high fashion couture and double scoop cones.
"Our final stop was to the botanical gardens at Olbricht with its Koi ponds, waterfalls, Japanese architecture and serenity pond. We adorned a small corner of the larger waterfall pond with delicate soft blooms and intimate vows exchanged to the sound of the waves."
