Blue and white wedding inspiration in Provence
The modern wedding world has long been influenced by famous artists of the past. This past spring, in the heart of Provence, the post-Impressionist works of Van Gogh inspired a charming blue and white wedding inspiration workshop at the stunning 5-star Crillon le Brave hotel, captured by Provence wedding photographer, Pattie Fellowes.
It is here, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, that the hidden refuge played host to the Reference Masterclass event that fused creativity with the stunning surroundings of Provence, explains wedding planner, Maison Nina. "Inspired by the works of Van Gogh, the color palette with azure blue and botanical green, fits harmoniously with the natural and local tones of the region. Every detail was carefully selected to adopt an aesthetic based on natural beauty. A true messenger of delicacy and romance for a minimalist and soft haute couture wedding."
"The bride, wearing a stunning dress from Daalarna Official's latest ‘Florence’ collection, was an image of timeless elegance and artistic allure. Our bride embodied grace and sophistication in this exquisite gown, with its sweeping satin skirt adorned with a daring slit to accentuate her every movement. The dramatic ruffled collar added a touch of regal charm, framing her feminine lines with effortless elegance.
"Drawing inspiration from the gentle hues of Provençal blue, the bride wears Celine heels from the latest Freya Rose collection. Crafted from soft satin and adorned with sparkling jewelry-like decorations, these heels exude elegance and charm."
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the chateau garden, the couple shared their ‘I Dos’ in an intimate symbolic ceremony which embraced the splendor of their surroundings with no additional decor. Next the couple retired to a cozy cellar-style room, which showcased the essence of local architecture with its arched white chalk walls, quaint small windows, and a majestic fireplace as its centerpiece.
The was space decorated in a botanical garden style, with a stunning blue toile de Jouy tablecloth that perfectly matched the stationery. Delicate lace-like plates and vintage silver cutlery adorn the table, alongside the bounty of Provence, including fragrant thyme, rosemary, and white tulips arranged in golden vases.
Maison Nina adds: "As the sun began to set over the village of Crillon-le-Brave, the bride mad a captivating transformation, like a flight of a butterfly, into a dazzling gown by Ziad Nakad. The harmonious symphony of design and craftsmanship, elevated her allure to new heights, as she swayed gently on the dance floor to the melody of Etta James."
