Blue and white spring wedding in Charleston, SC
Elegance and sophistication blended seamlessly with history and artistic charm at this blue and white spring wedding the Gibbes Museum of Art in Charleston, captured by South Carolina wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Taylor Jordon.
The wedding highlights featured lush seasonal flowers including hydrangeas, white roses, anemones, and blue snapdragon; slink black bridesmaids dresses, and signature his and hers cocktails. As part of the team at the renowned Halls Chop House, it was no surprise that the groom chose them to cater his special event and their culinary excellence did not disappoint.
Other elements included a birch and white dance floor, gold glass community tables, and slated wood chairs. Instead of a cake, the couple opted for a decadent table full of carefully curated mini deserts. An array of mismatched linens draped the tables and included Stradley Davidson’s beautiful Hemmingway peacock print, and a wild zebra stripe.
The couple exited the unforgettable evening with sparklers and then sped off with Charleston’s Pedicab, decked out in luscious white flowers. The guests continued on to Henry’s, an iconic spot for great music, near the downtown market.
