From Catalina Bloch: "I have had a black wedding in my head for a while. People often see black as depressing but I see it as classic, beautiful and happy. I think that what one person sees as dark another person can see as light. Nirvana lyrics are the same for me. His lyrics while dark were littered with romantic notes and love stories. I really wanted to make a shoot that was romantic, elegant, dark but loving. I thought that the contrast of the lovely colors of the Las Vegas desert really brought the light that was needed to ground this dramatic shoot."
