Beautiful toile de jouy editorial on the French Riviera
Today's fairytale editorial takes place at the stunning Bastide du Roy, a grand wedding venue on the French Riviera. It features every shade of blue from midnight to duck egg and lots of stylish details you're sure to want to steal. Under the creative direction of wedding film photographer, Thomas Audiffren, a Fine Art Curation member, the shoot tells the story of a young woman and her chestnut steed, who is wary of an approaching man but eventually warms to him under his gentle caress. The couple embrace and start to dance...
We are head over heals for the striking blue and white colour palette, which features everywhere from the flowers and Marion Fera gown to the miniature cakes adorned with French toile de jouy icing. The striking horse (he's on Instagram!) brings a fairytale romance to the day, heightened by the ethereal floral design from La Blonde et le Barbu Design.
The soft and airy flowers feature blue tulips and delphinium with white roses, sweetpeas, spirea and gypsophila, complimented with toile de jouy patterns on the flatware and stationery that ties the whole look together. Our favourite part? Definitely the flower adorned DJ station! Scroll on to the see all the beautiful blue wedding inspiration.
