Atmospheric winter wedding editorial at Sunstone Winery
A wedding at Sunstone Winery is stunning no matter the size and time of year. Tucked in the San Ynez Valley, it feels like a magical escape from reality. European inspired architecture, mountain views, and of course excellent food and wine make it the ultimate in luxury escapism. It is the location for today's beautiful editorial of an intimate mirco wedding, captured by Fine Art Curation member Mary Dougherty.
Under the creative direction of Carrie Moe from Type A Society, the monochrome color palette and ethereal styling details felt perfectly atmospheric on a cold January day in the misty Santa Ynez Valley. Naturally white roses and tulips paired with dyed white ferns and grey sprayed eucalyptus to give a ghostly feel to the floral design by Alt Flowers. The Claire La Faye gown also felt otherworldly with its dramatic dropped sleeves and layers of frothy ivory tulle. We are used to seeing Sunstone Winery with the sun beating down on the vines and honey-colored stone, so it's a treat to see it with an altogether more moody atmosphere in winter.
