10 COLORED WEDDING DRESSES FOR THE FINE ART BRIDE - BBFW21
Stunning new wedding dresses for the 2022 season, a historic backdrop in Spain, and a very important cause (and once we have been supporting via VOW For Girls recently). This year, Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week went ahead after a year off and it was everything we love about fashion week and more. While the shows were a magical celebration of beauty, fashion and being together once again, the #StopChildMarriage project by charity Save the Children, is one close to our hearts. Coming together to protect young girls from forced marriages is a cause worth working hard for. Every 7 seconds a girl under the age of 15 enters into a forced marriage somewhere around the world. And with 12 million girls under 18 being brides each year, we can help end child marriage by raising funds and awareness.
At this year's 2021 BBFW, we weren't intimidated by unique and colorful gowns. In fact, we love them. This Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week fulfilled the brief of colored gowns and we're in love. Photographer Ines Zrinski was on hand to capture all the best looks and below is a curation of the Best Colored Wedding Dresses that we saw at BBFW 2021...
AMELIA CASABLANCA
Amelia Casablanca is synonymous with that typically Italian culture that is able to bring dreams to life, to combine them with laces, silks, embroideries, to give that extra touch that distinguishes an Amelia Casablanca. This has always characterized the marked taste of Made in Italy, where pomp and luxury reign.
CARLA RUIZ
Carla Ruiz offers a harmony of colours, shapes, textures and materials with the desire of dressing a woman who values originality and appreciates standing out. Perfect for bridesmaids, brides or even Mother's of the Brides/Grooms.
MARCO Y MARIA
A favorite every BBFW and far from the usual mass-produced bridal fashion, Marco & MarĂa pay attention to the details of every single dress. Each one of them entails hours of handmade work and entirely made in Spain.
YOLAN CRIS
Inspired by the origin, the beginning and the fundamentals of handicrafts, Yolan Cris is divided into Boho Soul, a free spirit and bohemian style; Couture, where tradition and classic are the protagonists; and New Generation, for modern and minimalist brides.
