Wedding Blog Awards 2016 - Wedding Sparrow nominated for 3 awards

Oct 12, 2016 | Industry

We're thrilled today to announce that Wedding Sparrow has been nominated for a whopping THREE awards by the national bridal magazine Wedding Magazine! Woo hoo! We're up for Best Use of Social Media (yeah baby!), Best Big Day Inspiration and Wedding Blog of the Year.

For any new readers and brides that have just joined us, we've were honoured to receive the BEST NEWCOMER award at the first ever WEDDING Magazine Blog Awards in 2013. We were totally surprised when Mark Francis from Made In Chelsea called out our name at the awards - so much so we weren't even in the room at the time! So after a mad dash to the stage, we collected our first ever award. We were up against some stiff competition so we were beyond happy that readers of the magazine voted for Wedding Sparrow as their favourite new blog! It was in 2014 we were shocked again to find we had won BEST DESIGNED WEDDING BLOG (thanks Mega!).

A couple years on and Wedding Sparrow has achieved so much. We went on to win BEST WEDDING BLOG 2014 and again in 2015 from the UK Blog Awards, and that's not all, we have so much more up our sleeve that we just can't reveal yet (trust us it's gonna be exciting!)...

Now it's pretty sweet to be nominated and recognised in this saturated but let us tell you it's not the awards that matter to us (it's the pretty dresses we see at New York Bridal Fashion Week this week! Joke...). We LOVE what we do, the people we meet, and the downright talented folk we recommend to our brides on a daily basis in our Fine Art Curation. Now if we get to prop an award on our office shelves then of course we'd be super proud...

Voting is closed for the awards but a huge thank you to all that voted for us in all categories and it truly is enough for us to just be nominated. We'll be dining on that alone for some time don't you worry! And a huge thank you to all vendors and wedding industry folk that have inspired us, promoted us and loved us back despite us being a 'young' brand.

Champagne anyone?
