San Juan Mission Wedding Inspiration with neutral tones
Old world elegance is right up my fine art street and this mission based neutral beauty from Melanie Osorio Photography and Empire Design Events is the epitome of grace and timeless design. The architecture certainly lends itself well to the modern yet romantic dress by Seraphim (check out that movement!)...
FromMelanie Osorio Photography: "I draw inspiration in my photography from history, architecture and my travels. Having been to Europe numerous times, I am always dreaming about the old villages with crumbling stone walled churches and narrow, cobblestone streets.
The Mission in San Juan is a 230 year old historical site in Southern California. The open air ruins were the perfect backdrop for our elopement shoot. Ana from Empire Design Events and I wanted to keep the styling simple and organic, focusing on the beauty of the venue and the love of our real couple. We knew a soft and flowing dress was perfect to contrast against the stone walls. We kept the hair and makeup loose and soft to showcase the plunging neckline of the dress. For the florals, Taya from Compass Floral created an unstructured, bouquet with lots of greenery, giving it a freshly foraged feel. Sarah B. Calligraphy tied everything together with hints of gold and soft blue in the invitation suite. The calligraphy colors were inspired by the colors of the walls, changing from cool to warm throughout the day. The handmade paper and wax seals were perfect for a refined, yet timeless inspired elopement."
