Royal Blue Elegant Wedding Inspiration
We all know it's not always ideal to have your wedding reception outdoors as beautiful as it can be (hello rainy weather, city environment, too many guests to fit in etc), so it's so good to see such an incredibly beautiful indoor inspiration from #fineartcuration member and photographer Artiese Studios together with Rainbow Chan Weddings & Events. Royal blues and delicately organic florals are evocative of an Old World charm...
From Rainbow Chan Weddings & Events: "The beautiful, elegant, inspiring, and enchanting; all such essential elements wrapped together in a perfect ensemble. A theme crafted from the pages of history, an eternal style inspired by nobility and royalty. Such fanciful images which evoke the most complex of emotions, bringing an awe-inspiring and majestic atmosphere from an indescribable realm of inspirations drawn from classical and historical themes."
"This essential artistic goal would be the main motivator for our latest styled shoot, “Old World Royalty”. These aesthetic aims would drive our planners, coordinators, and stylists to fashion together and form a menagerie of colours, textures, and styles based on the regal air of the old European royal houses throughout history. Employing an evocative palette of light grey, dusty royal blue, neutral tones and a soft beige finish, our stylists, planners and coordinators had crafted a style that’s undeniably graceful and inescapably breathtaking. Befitting of this regally drawn theme, our planners and coordinators had specially selected Toronto’s ever-beautiful Mint Room Studios as our styled-shoot space.
A frequent destination for our stylists, planners and coordinators, Mint Room Studios boasts a spacious, simple, yet impeccably kept event space in its pristine white hall; a perfect fit to capture our styled shoot’s intended atmosphere. To start off work on our royal theme, our stylists and planners had assembled a specially selected list of design choices and wedding day motifs which would effortlessly bring the theme of ‘old world royalty’ to life.Drawing upon an organic and floral feel to set the mood, our stylists had aimed for an exquisite and elaborate, yet simply stated floral theme; with floral arrangements provided by Kitchener-Waterloo-based boutique florists The Girl Floral.
Pristine linens with the velvet texture would play a key part in our styled shoot, enveloping the space in a soft linen embrace all throughout. A beautiful tablescape which spelt out an undeniably royal and regal theme would be essential to our styled shoot, with stemware and plates care-of Chairman Mills, and a captivating custom-made stationery set by Post Calligraphy for each guest. Wedding guests are greeted with a welcome fit for kings and queens. As for an added royal touch to make reality out of fantasy; our stylists had introduced a floral tiara and head piece for the lovely bride. For the styled shoot’s centerpiece, a series of select stilettos by famous British fashion designer Jimmy Choo would provide an added dimension of luxury and royalty to the wedding day atmosphere. And to top it all off, a breathtaking ring box care-of frequent collaborator Cynthia Findlay; a royal ring for a regal wedding. So all in all, “Old World Royalty” is a celebration of various elements, colour palettes, design choices, and essential themes that, when brought together, create a royal and majestic air out of an event space. So immerse yourself, and step back in time with us, to an age of “Old World Royalty”."
