Historic Mansion Styled Shoot

Apr 18, 2014 | Inspiration
When fine art film photographer Em the Gem and epic stylist A & B Creative get together to create something beautiful we know it will be epic. This Historic Mansion styled shoot couples delicate dresses from Sarah Seven and beautiful peach and blush peonies and roses. We're in love with this hint of Summer vintage bridal styling.... From Rebekah at A & B Creative: "When Emily contacted me with photos of a historic abandoned mansion and asked if I wanted to work with her to create something worthy of the dilapidated estate I jumped at the opportunity! For whatever reason, I have long felt that I was born in the wrong era. I have always been drawn to both people and objects or properties' stories. When I stepped into the house I immediately began imagining what the lives of the people that had lived there before had been like and what kind of family events were celebrated under this roof. We all wanted to create a shoot that highlighted the beauty in decomposition and juxtapose it with the beauty that only a bride has." emthegem 19 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 32 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 28 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 63 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 50 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 73 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 26 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 17 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 23 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 52 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 54 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 44 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 72 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 14 Photography ~ Em the Gem emthegem 6 Photography ~ Em the Gem Vendor details Photography: Em the Gem | Styling: A & B Creative | Film Lab: Richard Photo Lab | Gowns: Sarah Seven | Hair & Make-Up: Katie Nash Beauty | Model: Lizzie Gunst | Flowers: Mandolin Floral | Shoes: BHLDN | Venue: Private estate
