Feminine Spring Wedding Style Inspired by Lilac
Ahh, nothing like the fresh rejuvenating Spring pastels after a long winter of dead plants and grey skies, right? We immediately found today's beautiful and romantic lilac-inspired wedding ideas ultra romantic, yet effortless in nature. Lilacs are not only one of the most scented blooms, but their subtle purple hue is right on trend for this year's Pantone of the Year.
Erica Kopp designed this easy-going wedding day as an intimate soiree with friends - right up our alley. The film images by Megan Robinson are equally whimsical as they are gorgeous and we KNOW so many of you are going to take tons of inspiration for your own big days from this lovely shoot...
From stylist Erica Kopp: “Inspired by the fleeting beauty of lilac, this editorial was created to capitalize on its beauty in time. A color palette consisting of tones of lavender, plum, dusty pink and creams linked between the affinity of table pieces and model created an inviting scene meant to be analogous to the feelings of relishing an evening soiree with close friends and enjoying the beauty of your surroundings. Location consisting of greenery and cobblestone was carefully picked to add density to the fresh elements of the editorial. Carefully aligned shadows in the images were intentionally created to be add depth and to highlight the beauty in each element.”
