Casual Picnic Inspired Bridal Style

Mar 08, 2016 | Inspiration

Today we're feasting our eyes on something a little different, something we'd describe as 'casual elegance'! Captured by Madalina Sheldon, each element like the bride's off the shoulder Jarlo gown and her upswept hair, gives her a carefree, confident aura. Glamor doesn't necessarily mean overly exaggerated hotel ballroom weddings... sometimes a simplistic tablescape and a pop of natural colors can do the trick...

From Wedding Sparrow favorite Madalina Sheldon: "Elegant blend of dreamy atmosphere and raw, authentic elements of the transylvanian region. The whole styling consisted entirely of the flora of the pristine region and the season. The handmade tabletop came from the hands of local artists, the cuisine from the generous peasants of the village. The flowers were picked by the immediate fields and gardens and the air smelled like fall, fire and grapes. The soft interaction between the model and the natural surrounding was like a soft conversation. The shoot peaked as the model laid in the apple harvest and art touched nature gently.

A wedding and life inspiration for all lovers of nature, simplicity and unaffected aesthetics..."

I love her wedding dress, it’s so unique! We’re hoping for a smaller outdoor wedding, so this is exactly what I like to see. It’s fun that she used apples as her main item. We were thinking of doing that with strawberries!
